Had a great time, PD was very enjoyable company, her sorting the trip and picking you up makes it too easy and more time to relax and have fun. Lunch was fantastic too. She will get you on the waterfalls quickly through sorting lockers, etc, give you a nice amount of time to explore yourself and have lunch ready to go. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour! The market is not touristic so we can have a local experience. Dear is an amazing guide, very friendly, kind, good humored, helpful and with lot of knowledge of the market. She also gave some tips about Thailand and things to do. And helped us to choose amazing food for lunch. Whoever does this tour will not regret!!!

Originally I was going to book with a different guide. When I told her I was vegetarian she doubted she could accommodate me. Bummer! Luckily, I was switched to Paramapanot. She let me know the ingredients and said if I didn’t want the lotus snack, I could still take pictures and it would be given to someone else to eat so it wasn’t wasted. She also made sure there were other snacks to try. I had mango sticky rice, mango fruit roll ups, watermelon smoothie, and desserts with banana, taro, pumpkin, and purple potato. All were really good. Being vegetarian wasn’t a big deal at all and I’m glad my guide didn't let it ruin the trip. She was friendly and had good English. It was a nice relaxing trip. I wish it could be lengthened to include an orchid garden or a rice plantation. That would be a great value and allow for more pictures. Overall, very nice.

We had an awesome time on this tour and Kamutnadda was an excellent guide! We went early and were almost the only people at many of the sites we visited. Doi Inthanon Park was a beautiful and relaxing day out of the city. Kamutnadda took care of everything and was very flexible during the day with the time we had - making an extra stop and rearranging the order of sites so that we would have the best experience. He also answered our many questions and was very knowledgeable. There is only a little bit of walking to each site and should be easy for most people. The drive in the mountains is winding, so if you get car sick I recommend you take medicine.

Sara was so fantastic and friendly we could not reccomend her high enough. We loved all of the pictures she took on her camera and sent to us. It's nice not having to do that and also tailoring the tour to suit us

Our guide Anucha, aka Boy spoke English very well. There was no problem in communication. The trip went well and the jungle track we took was interesting, full of obstacles. Although we didn’t manage to see any elephants, there was not a dull moment in the trek experience. Oh the night safari, however, feels like a waste of time.. cos most animals would have ran away to hide upon the first light shone on them by the many trucks in front of us. So all we saw were a few deers and couple of foxes far away from the road. The night ride on the open truck was cold; I wished I had on a thicker jacket. Overall experience is good.

Wonderful trip! Pongwit was very knowledgeable and friendly, and being from the area near Khao yai we couldn't have asked for a more qualified guide. He took us on a 4km hike through the forest, where we were able to see monkeys, gibbons, two types of deer (some came so close that we could've gone over and touched them if we wanted). We saw lots of evidence of elephants being nearby but weren't lucky enough to see them ourselves, although other customers frequently do. A tasty lunch was included and we got to see two gorgeous waterfalls, including the one that was filmed in The Beach. All in all, we had a great trip to Khao yai and would highly recommend this trip with Pongwit!

Why We Decided Not to Offer Elephant Rides

While elephant rides and animal shows are among the most popular things to do in Thailand, animal welfare is one of our priorities. Fortunately, there are many ethical alternatives and we encourage you to choose what's best for both you and animals.
