Our day with Eddie and M was absolutely wonderful, a highlight of our trip. Particularly we loved how knowledgeable Eddie was about ancient history, and we learned a lot about Thai culture as well. All the stops were absolutely stunning and different to the normal tours you would take around chiang mai. M was so warm and lovely and a very safe driver! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, beautiful off the beaten track locations and excellent local recommendations.

We had a lovely day with Eddie and our driver, Bert. He took us to "off the tourist path" locations, as well as those advertised in the itinerary. His passion for local history ( and particularly defining features in temples Lanna vs Burmese styles) was outstanding, as well as his photography skills. Although we did feel a little overwhelmed by the number of photos/video clips being taken as we wanted to just enjoy the sights. Our local lunch was delicious with a great view and mai phet ( not spicy) as requested! The bonus, at an extra cost, of seeing the terraced rice fields was great.

My tour experience with Pratthana was exceptional! I was completing a project focusing on food culture, and she was able to add visiting a couple of historic food stalls in Songkla and a market in Hat Yai into our plans smoothly without a hitch. Unfortunately, later in the day, I fell ill with a stomach bug I must have gotten a couple of days earlier, and she was more than willing to help me buy medicine at a local pharmacy and assist with me moving my luggage into my hostel. I would 100% recommend booking with Pratthana, she is not only knowledgeable but energetic and caring as well!
