Koh Kret is the only one island in the Chao Phraya River. Just a couple minutes taking ferry to this small island and you will be stunned with the variety of Thai local foods, desserts, fruits and snacks! Koh Kret is one of the must-visit places when you come to Thailand. The highlight here is you’re going to make your own pottery in a workshop!

Itinerary

Meet up at your preferred meeting point
- MRT Station (Nonthaburi Civic Center)
- BTS Station (Bang Wa)

Arrive at Wat Sanam Nuea Temple Pier. Here, we will take a ferry for a few minutes to reach Koh Kret island. The journey is short because Koh Kret is only on the opposite side!

Once we reach Koh Kret, I'll be taking you to visit the several Mon temples on the island, along with providing you interesting information about each place. Then, I'll be taking you street food hunting. There's just so many types of food here that I can't wait for you to see. Yum, yum!

Have lunch at "Yok Yen Keun Bok". This is one of the recommended restaurants on Koh Kret, since it's riverside, meaning that the view is magnificent. Here, you can have a chill lunch and even hang your legs down above the river!

13:00

After enjoying our delicious lunch, I'll take you to an earthenware pottery museum on the island. Here, you'll learn a bit about why Koh Kret is known among locals as the "pottery island". Also, this is where you can make your own pottery to take home too!

14:00

Our trips ends here. I'll drop you off at our meeting point safe and sound. Hope you enjoyed my trip today, and I wish you safe travels!

Meji was flexible in arrangements as my arrival location was moved and transpy delayed. There was no market on and the restaurant was closed so we chose another.

There is a museum on the island but Meji didn't seem to know anything about it.

He was great at selecting selfie spots but the tour could be enhanced by being a group booking.
